Family Activities Schedule

Fun for all ages at the Museum!

Arkell Museum Family Discovery Days are free to museum members and to visitors residing within the following zip codes:

For all others, regular museum admission of $7 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens (with children 11 and under free) applies.

Willow Girl

Bring your children, grandchildren nieces and nephews. This free day is made possible with a grant from Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation.

The day’s activities include:

Willow Girl presented by the Catsill Puppet Theater
1:30 pm-2:30 pm
A young girl immigrates to the American frontier and finds herself among a swirl of other cultures. She is taught the healing power of plants and has a secret friend—the mysterious spirit who inhabits a beautiful Willow Tree!

Look with your own eyes: Family Discovery
Explore the exhibition Look with your own eyes: Portraits, Landscapes and Pastimes in American Painting with museum group leader (3:00 pm) or on your own with our activity pages that make art fun and approachable for all ages.
